Central Market remains closed until May 15

The Central Market in Chisinau, as well as all the commercial spaces on Mitropolit Varlaam street, 63, remain closed during the entire state of emergency, which ends on May 15th. The period of cessation of activity may be extended after this date. The provisions are contained in a document signed by the mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, reports IPN.

In the provision, it is mentioned that these are measures to prevent and reduce the spread of the new type of coronavirus on the territory of the markets in Chisinau.

According to the previous provision, the activity of the Central Market was suspended from March 16 until April 1.

On the entire state of Moldova, it is declared the state of emergency between March 17 and May 15.
