First House: Over 4,700 homes were purchased through the program

Through the government program "First House", 4,701 homes have been purchased so far. Another 23 applications have been accepted and guarantee contracts are to be signed.

The total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.36 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.18 billion lei.

Out of 4,701 beneficiaries, 3,258 are families, and 1,443 are unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31.2 years. Also, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 663 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the “First House 2” program, 1,796 - within the “First House” program 3, and 376 - within the “First House 4” program.

The amount of compensations granted from the state budget for the partial coverage of the expenses incurred by the beneficiaries for the payment of the mortgage loan within the State Program "First House" constitutes 19.04 million lei. Thus, within the First House 2 program, compensations were granted from the state budget in the total amount of 5.78 million lei, within the First House 3 program - 11.69 million lei, and within the First House 4 program - 1.57 million lei.

The average area of housing purchased through the program is 60.05 square meters. The average value of purchased homes is 596.04 thousand lei.

Out of the total number of purchased homes, 4,399 are located in urban areas, and 302 - in rural areas. 4,325 homes purchased are apartments, and 376 - individual houses.

TRM.MD recalls that the beneficiary of the governmental program "First House" can be any citizen of the Republic of Moldova aged between 18 and 50 years who is officially employed at a state institution or private company in the country and has official income. The share of the initial own participation constitutes 5% of the purchase price of the house.
