Mayor of Chisinau requests the resignation of the head of DGETS
The mayor of Chisinau requested the resignation of Rodica Guţu, the head of the general education directorate (DGETS) of Chisinau City Hall, in the context of a series of serious violations in the field, reports Radio Moldova.
The mayor also said that Rodica Guţu would not have presented the annual report, though " she was informed that we would evaluate her activity, she went on medical leave".
"She paid the salaries of the educators with delay. Every day, we receive petitions from parents regarding illicit collection of money. And many more", said Ion Ceban, asking for her voluntary resignation.
According to him, once Rodica Guţu resigns, a public competition will be organized. Rodica Guţu has not yet reacted to the above statements.
