Traffic restrictions for trucks
Traffic restrictions are set for heavy transport on national roads. The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure warns that when the air temperature is 30˚C, vehicles over 20 tons will not have access on national roads, between 10:00 and 20:00, Mesager reports.
Restrictions do not apply to vehicles transporting passengers, live animals and perishable products of animal and plant origin, those participating in force majeure interventions, equipped with first aid equipment or trained in the prevention, liquidation of exceptional situations, vehicles trained in road rehabilitation.
The measure aims to prevent damage to public roads in conditions of high temperatures.
