Russia to donate COVID vaccine to Moldova

The Russian Federation could donate to the Republic of Moldova a vaccine against COVID Sputnik V. This was announced by the former president of Moldova Igor Dodon. He referred to the talks which he had recently held in Moscow with Russian officials.

"I was in Moscow last week. During a meeting we agreed that the Republic of Moldova will receive several hundred thousand doses of Russian vaccine for vaccinating citizens. I know the preparations have been launched. I hope that no artificial obstacles will be imposed ", said Igor Dodon in a press conference.

We remind you that, previously, Romania announced that it will donate to the Republic of Moldova 200 thousand doses of anti-COVID vaccine. According to the healthcare authorities, the first doses of vaccine could arrive in our country at the end of January, and the vaccination campaign should start at the beginning of February.
