Seven thousand people entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 13,329 crossings. 7,008 crossings were registered on the way into Moldova, out of which 4,783 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,102 crossings at the border with Ukraine and 1,123 crossings by plane, reads a press release the General Inspectorate of Police Border of the Interior Ministry.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 13,329 people were screened and 6,137 individual epidemiological files were completed. At the border crossing, no person showed symptoms of Covid-19 infection.

At the same time, the Border Police announces that during 24 hours, nine people violated the regime of the border area and that of the crossing points, and two drivers violated the transportation rules. 48 people were documented for non-compliance with measures of prophylaxis, prevention and / or control of epidemic diseases.

The officers of the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 222 calls from citizens, where they were offered consultations regarding the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks in the context of the measures applied to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
