Customs Service denies information in the media about the raid performed at the headquarters of the institution
The Customs Service states that during the first half of today, 19 June, the offices of the customs subdivisions were not raided. The media reported about the raids at the premises of the "Poşta Moldovei" and the Customs Service, in a criminal case initiated on smuggling schemes with different commodities.
Also, the Customs Service points that it is willing to give any support and assistance to the investigative bodies to elucidate the circumstances.
We remind that prosecutor Maria Vieru told Radio Moldova that lawmakers have raided on Friday morning, 19 July, at the premises of Post Office (Posta Moldovei) and Customs Service, in a criminal case initiated on smuggling schemes with different products and commodities, including anabolic, amber, tobacco products and alcohol.
