Survey: 72.70% of citizens believe that things are going wrong in Moldova

72.70% of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova consider that things go wrong in the country and only 17.40% believe that they go good. At least this is what the Barometer of Public Opinion (BPO) shows, presented today in Chisinau.

To the question what worries them most at the moment, people responded that, first of all, the prices and future of the children are bothering them at the moment. The second is poverty, and third place is unemployment and corruption.

Approximately 73% of respondents said that the family's current income was not enough even for the strict minimum or is only enough for the strict minimum.

Being asked what should be done to improve the economic situation in the country, people said: fighting corruption, changing the country's leadership, developing industrial enterprises, fighting crime, supporting the small entrepreneur in the agrarian sector, etc.

The largest source of information for Moldovans is television, followed by Internet and radio.

The survey was conducted by the CBS-AXA Sociological Investigation Center for the Institute for Public Policy on November 9-23 on a sample of 1,115 people. The margin of error is ±3%.
