The condition of the bridges in Chisinau, in the sights of the municipal authorities

A municipal commission evaluates the situation of the bridges in the city, in order to establish the measures to be taken in order to improve the state of affairs in this field.

A meeting with City Hall specialists and experts took place last week, and experts warned local authorities that the placement of advertising targets on bridges is prohibited. The car washes located under the respective constructions are also a danger. Information in this regard was presented by Deputy Mayor Ilie Ceban, on Monday, during the operative meeting of the municipal services.

In this context, Ilie Ceban asked the sector mayors and the General Directorate of Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations to examine the basis of the location of the car washes under the bridges and to take measures for their evacuation.

"These objectives create conditions for the deterioration of the condition of the bridges through the moisture that persists as a result of the activity of the respective economic agents," said the deputy mayor.

Moreover, Ilie Ceban stressed that the authorities are going to take urgent measures in this regard, as the situation has deteriorated, due to the lack of attitude on the part of previous administrations.

In Chisinau, there are about 20 road bridges.
