Route of trolleybuses in Chisinau will be monitored online
Passengers who travel by trolley bus will find out when the vehicle arrives at the bus station. This is due to an application that can be downloaded to mobile phone or computer.
Officials from Regia Transport Electric announced that all vehicles on the route have been equipped with GPS systems and travelers can follow the trolleybus route and can monitor in real time the trolleybuses on route.
"Monitoring devices were installed in all 350 trolleybuses under the contract. The software is also completed", said the head of the Electric Transport Authority, Dorin Ciornii.
According to him, the services were provided by a company in charge with transport monitoring and it is not very expensive.
