A group of students make protective screens for medical personnel

Maximum mobilization during pandemic time. A group of students from the Technical University of Moldova and from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" make protective screens for medical personnel. The authorities announce that they have provided a safe space for this purpose, and a large part of the visors made by these students have already been distributed to hospitals in the country, reports Moldova 1.

"It takes about seven minutes for a visor to be made. FABLAB can produce around 200 visors daily. Together with our colleagues from viziere.md we can produce over 1,000 visors daily. The purpose of these visors is to be delivered to the medical personnel, including the Border Police, who are in the front line in the fight with COVID -19,” said Vladimir Scutelnic, FABLAB manager.

The Minister of Health, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, thanked the group of young people who mobilized to produce visors for the doctors in the hospitals.

"The Ministry has provided them with spaces, respecting all their security measures and which in those days produce those visors, or as we know new protective screens for medical personnel. Two thousand screens of protection have been distributed for the hospital medical institutions, both from the strategic and from the district ones,” said Viorica Dumbrăveanu, the Minister of Health.

According to Viorica Dumbrăveanu, thousands of visors will be produced, which will be distributed throughout the country.
