New case of measles in Chisinau
A new measles case was registered last week in Chisinau. It's about a teacher from a lyceum in Singera town. This was announced by the head of the Chisinau municipal Health Department Tatiana Bucearschi, Radio Moldova reports.
Tatiana Bucearschi said that the teacher was not vaccinated and she was admitted to the hospital.
According to some data, the woman has been in contact with over one hundred students. Thus, unvaccinated children from the lyceum are at risk of measles.
Tatiana Bucearschi said that 11 students from this institution were not vaccinated and 40 were not re-vaccinated.
Unvaccinated children are under the control of the family doctor.
