Egg paint can be toxic to the body, specialists

The egg paint sold in the capital markets is full of food additives. The National Consumer Protection Center urges people to be cautious when deciding to buy it to avoid food poisoning, Moldova 1 reports.

Specialists also say that all paint for Easter eggs can be toxic to the body simply because it is obtained industrially from artificial dyes.

It is recommended to avoid paints containing additives with hard-to-pronounce names that go through the shell in the eggs consumed.

At the same time, it is not advisable to keep boiled eggs for more than five to seven days, even if kept in a refrigerator.
