Ten people are running for CCA membership

Ten people were admitted to the interview for the competition for the selection of candidates for membership of the Coordination Council of Audiovisual (CCA).

According to a press release, following are the candidates: Lidia Viziru, Iulian Rosca, Vitalie Bujniţa, Nicolae Spătaru, Nicolae Fabian, Viorel Molea, Marcel Marin, Corneliu Mihalache, Victoria Son and Leonid Smolnitchi.

The interview will take place on Wednesday, December 5, starting at 11:00, at the Parliament.

The Parliamentary Committee on Culture, Education, Research, Youth, Sports and Mass Media has announced a public contest for three vacant CCA membership posts. The competition is due to the expiration of the mandates of certain CCA members on 16 November 2018: Iurie Colesnic, Cristina Duca and Olga Barbălată.

The files for the competition were submitted between November 19-30.

Candidates for CCA membership will be selected by the Parliamentary Commission and the Legal Commission, Appointments and Immunities, who will then forward them to Parliament for confirmation. CCA members are appointed by Parliament for a six-year term.
