Sorin Colceag quits Zimbru
Coach Sorin Colceag left Zimbru several days before the match against Sfântul Gheorghe, of the sixth stage of the National Division, IPN reports.
The Romanian coach trained Zimbru for eight months. Zimbru scored only one point in the five stages played in the current edition of the championship. The team ranks last and is close to being eliminated from the semifinals of Moldova’s Football Cup.
The director of the Zimbru football school Marius Codescu left together with Colceag. Owing to financial problems, the top team of the Zimbru club was close to being dropped from the current edition of the championship.
