Moldovan judokas win bronze medals at the Cadet European Cup
Moldova has won two bronze medals at the Cadet European Judo Cup that took place in Teplice, the Czech Republic, IPN reports.
The bronzes were won by Andrian Veste (55 kg class) and Paulina Ţurcan (40 kg). In the semifinals, they were both beaten by the future winners of the competition - Kamran Suleymanov of Azerbaijan and Luca Mamira of Hungary.
In the Antalya Grand Prix, Moldova’s Denis Vieru won gold in the 66 kg class, while Vadim Bunescu scored only one victory. In other weight classes, Victor Sterpu, Ion Nacu (both 73 kg), Iurie Mocanu and Mihail Marchitan (both 90 kg) won no victory.
