The best books of the year 2021 nominated

The best books of 2021 were nominated for the Literary Awards Gala. Eugen Doga, Claudia Partole, Leo Butnaru, Ionela Hadârcă, Alexandru Vakulovski or Victoria Kirilov are just some of the notorious presences that have been awarded prizes for performances for artistic creation, Moldova 1 TV reports.


The event was organized by the Writers' Union of Moldova and the Chisinau city hall, and the media partner of the event is the Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova" .

This year the Excellence Award was given to the poet, prose writer and publicist, Ion Anton, the OPERA OMNIA Award was given to Arcadie Suceveanu, and the Poetry Book and the Prose Book belong to Maria Pilchin and Val Butnaru.

The book of literary history was designated "A Land of the Literary", signed by Mircea V. Ciobanu. Nadezhda Ivanov and Victoria Kirilova were awarded for their debut. Sergiu Pavlicenco won the "Cultural Relations" Award.

"It was a real surprise for me, I didn't even know there was such a prize. I have been faithful to this field all my life. Of course, I am satisfied that this work of mine was appreciated ", said professor Sergiu Pavlicenco.

The event was attended by the Ministers of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
