Eugen Doga received the title of "Doctor Honoris Causa" from the State University of Bălţi

A new recognition for the academic composer, Eugen Doga. The famous composer was awarded the title of "Doctor Honoris Causa" of the State University "Alecu Russo" from Balti, by the decision of the Senate of this institution. At the official ceremony, several creations by Eugen Doga performed by artists from the northern region of the Republic of Moldova resounded, Moldova 1 TV reports.


" I would call him a historian because he is related to a historical figure, Master Eugene Doga. His music is valued at the university. We have a faculty, we have a music department, where the Master's music is sung, researched ", mentions professor Ion Gagim.

Eugen Doga became the 35th holder of the title "Doctor Honoris Causa" of the University of Bălţi.

"It is a great honor for the entire Balti community. We are very grateful and we hope for a beautiful collaboration between the University and the Great Master ", says the rector of "Alecu Russo" University, Natalia Gaşiţoi.

Along with Eugen Doga, the composer Gheorghe Mustea was also present at the event.

"I am just happy for my colleague, Eugen Doga. I have directed many works and I have recorded many works in the fund of Radiotelevision where it is kept for future generations ", says the director of the" Teleradio-Moldova "Orchestra, Gheorghe Mustea.

High appreciation inspired Eugen Doga.

"I am very happy that I came here, to Balti, to recharge myself spiritually, humanly, professionally. I felt that there are many reserves of friendship, many reserves of energy, many reserves of longing. The man with longing is very rich ", concluded Master Eugen Doga.

The master donated CDs and notebooks of his creations to the institution. One of them, the famous sonnet, resounded for the first time.
