"Ghiocel" dance ensemble awarded at an international competition(VIDEO)
They won the Grand Prize at the International Competition Festival "Constellation of Talents" 2021 edition and got prizes at other national and international artistic competitions, and it was applauded by spectators in villages in the north of Moldova. It is about the folk dance ensemble "Ghiocel" from the House of Culture from Corlăteni village, Râşcani district.
Rehearsals for teenagers from the "Ghiocel" ensemble are moments spent in the joy and beauty of folk dance.
"I had a lot of competitions." "We have experienced unforgettable events, we are and will continue to be a family." These are some of the dancers' beliefs.
The Ghiocel ensemble was founded in 1997 by Claudia Valah from Corlăteni.
"Here are the roots, here we grow, here the children are promoted and we grow other generations", mentions Claudia Valah, artistic director of "Ghiocel".
In the next room, other students were performing modern dances, and their tutor was a disciple of Claudia Valah.
"We have a group of 11 years old, this is the smallest group, we are from the" Flamingo "studio, we were certified in 2019. We have four groups of dancers", says Irina Griţcu, leader of "Flamingo".
Currently, the Ghiocel ensemble is preparing a show, dedicated to the 25 years of activity, which will take place next spring, Mesager notes.
