IMF expert team visits Moldova
A team of experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) pays a visit to the Republic of Moldova, starting with today, October 2 to October 8, reports Radio Moldova.
The purpose of the visit is to update information on recent economic developments and discuss the policies promoted by the authorities to maintain macroeconomic and fiscal-fiscal stability, including in the context of the 2020 State Budget.
The IMF approved on September 21 the issuance of a new tranche of credit for our country, worth about $ 46 million and the request of the Government of Chisinau to extend the current Cooperation Agreement until March 20, 2020, which would give the authorities the chance to fulfill all the commitments assumed.
