Fuel prices are in free fall. How much will petrol and diesel cost in the next three days

For the next three days, new maximum fuel prices were set. Thus, a litre of A95 gasoline is cheaper by 0,19 lei and will cost a maximum of 27,27 lei. At the same time, a litre of diesel can be purchased for 26,66 lei per litre, or 0,08 lei cheaper.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation mentions that the current week (August 1-8) is the 7th consecutive week of lower retail prices for gasoline and the 6th for diesel.

According to ANRE, during that period, prices decreased by a weekly average of 0.95 lei/litre for A 95 gasoline and 0.97 lei/litre for standard diesel.

The decreases in fuel sales prices are still due to the decrease in Platts quotations for oil-derived products registered on the international stock exchanges.
