Moldovan-Ukrainian infrastructure projects will be implemented in parallel with the reconstruction of Ukraine

The Moldovan-Ukrainian infrastructure projects, which the leaders from Chisinau and Kyiv discussed during their visits in 2021, will be implemented in parallel with the reconstruction of Ukraine after the end of the war - the Ambassador of Ukraine in Chisinau, Marko Şevcenko, told Radio Moldova.

"These infrastructure development projects in both countries will go hand in hand with internal reconstruction. The authorities from Kyiv and Chisinau have already confirmed that they will continue efforts to develop bilateral infrastructure, I am considering the construction of a bridge over the Nistru, in the Iampoli-Cosăuţi area. Other projects related to the reconstruction and improvement of the operating conditions of the railways in Moldova and Ukraine", said Ambassador Marko Şevcenko.

On August 22, a section of the Basarabeasca - Berezino railway will be put into operation. This will facilitate train access to Ukrainian ports on the Danube.
