"Moldovagaz" reacts to the ultimatum submitted by "Gazprom"

"Moldovagaz" is in permanent contact with "Gazprom" regarding the issue of maintaining the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to the Republic of Moldova and will do its best to ensure the payment of current contractual obligations within the agreed term, including with the assistance of the Government. It is the reaction of the company from Chisinau to the warnings of the Gazprom concern to stop deliveries in case of non-fulfillment of contractual obligations.

Moreover, "Moldovagaz" mentions that previously the company's administration offered its shareholders a mechanism for repayment of historical debts. "However, due to the unfinished audit of these debts, such a solution cannot yet be implemented and, as a result, is beyond the competence of the company's management," the company's statement reads.

Also, the company mentions that it is ready to independently reserve and pay for additional capacities for the transportation of natural gas on the territory of Ukraine, including on a daily basis.

The president of the board of directors of "Moldovagaz", Vadim Ceban, wrote on his Telegram account that, despite the lack of a debt audit, "Moldovagaz" is willing to negotiate with the company's main shareholders and submit concrete proposals to solve the problems.
