TO. "Energocom" will be able to manage the forecasting of electricity production from renewable sources
The central electricity supplier, Energocom SA, will be able to manage the forecasting of electricity production from renewable sources, which will allow it to reduce the individual imbalances of the contracted producers, Radio Moldova reports.
A specialised software that forecasts electricity produced from renewable sources will be developed for "Energocom" and the contracted producers, thanks to the support of the program "Addressing the impact of the energy crisis in the Republic of Moldova", financed by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Moldova.
With a budget of 10 million euros, the program supports the public authorities of the Republic of Moldova and vulnerable groups in the context of the increase in natural gas prices, contributes to the reduction of energy vulnerability through a program to encourage the change of old household appliances with new, more energy efficient ones, supporting energy efficiency measures in residential buildings and installing photovoltaic panels in a series of public buildings.
