Statistics: Agricultural products more expensive by over 30 percent

In the last six months, the prices of agricultural products have increased by over 30 percent, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, reports Moldova 1 TV.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, between January and June 2022, the price of vegetable products increased by 3.6% compared to the same period last year. The most significant increases were registered in particular in: fruits - by 41.5% and vegetables - by 38.7%, of which the biggest increase was recorded in potatoes, by almost 38 percent.

Also, producer prices for seeds decreased, which were sold at a lower price of more than 30 percent.

Moreover, the price of animal products increased by over 20 percent. Thus, the price of eggs increased by 26 percent, meat by over 20 percent, and milk - by almost 15 percent.
