The State Duma of Russia announces when it will ratify the so-called annexation treaties of the occupied Ukrainian territories

The State Duma of Russia will ratify tomorrow the so-called "international annexation treaties" signed with the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia, the president of the institution, Veaceslav Volodin, announced today, according to Agerpres.

The Russian official explained that the deputies have "an important task" in front of them to create "a unified legal framework" for the residents of the annexed regions. Later, on October 4, the Russian Senate will have to ratify the "treaties", after which President Vladimir Putin will promulgate the federal law.

The Russian Constitutional Court today considered legal the annexation treaties of Ukrainian territories signed on Friday in the Kremlin by President Vladimir Putin and the separatist leaders of these occupied Ukrainian territories.
