Kuleba: We support the Republic of Moldova, although we expected more support at the beginning of the war

Ukraine will continue to cooperate with the Republic of Moldova in order to maintain its territorial integrity amid escalation in the Transnistrian region. A statement to this effect was made by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba during a briefing.

"We must work with the Republic of Moldova and maintain the territorial integrity and sovereignty of this state. We will do it, although we sincerely expected a better response from Moldova to our requests for support at the beginning of the Russian invasion," Kuleba was quoted as saying by Pravda.com.

The minister stressed that Moldova does not need another front on the left bank of Dniester, just like Ukraine and Europe.

"Therefore, we will jointly stop the escalation and keep the situation under control," he added.

Earlier, the Central Intelligence Agency of Ukraine reported that the Transnistrian region continues to prepare for war with Ukraine, and Russia was preparing for challenges there for the May holidays.Earlier, the Central Intelligence Agency of Ukraine reported that the Transnistrian region continues to prepare for war with Ukraine, and Russia was preparing for challenges there for the May holidays.
