The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavriliţa, will visit Tokyo, where she will participate in the state funeral of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The details of the visit were discussed during the meeting with the ambassador of Japan in Chisinau, Yoshihiro Katayama and the deputy director of the office of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation in Ukraine, Kumiko Kasai.

We remind you that former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot and killed on July 8, at an election rally. Although funeral services were held shortly, Japan decided to hold state funerals on September 27 at the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo, which will cost $1.83 million.

A large number of top officials have confirmed their presence at the funerals, including SZA Vice President Kamala Harris, EU Council President Charles Michel, as well as presidents of legislatives, prime ministers, ministers and other officials from numerous countries.

After the funerals, the participants are invited to the Guest House of the Prime Minister of Japan, for an event called Greeting Occasion.
