"Telefilm-Chisinau" leaves in a caravan through the localities of the Republic of Moldova

The documentaries shot at the "TeleFilm-Chisinau" studio will be shown in several localities in the Republic of Moldova. The human rights documentary caravan will take place this year, starting on July 11. The announcement was made by Mircea Surdu, the studio's director, on the show "Public Space" on Radio Moldova.

Carvana will leave the Public Institution "Teleradio-Moldova" Company and will make the first stop in the village of Crăsnăşeni in Telenesti district, where two documentaries will be screened.

"The fence of my house" by Ana Gurdiş tells the resounding story of Victoria Pruteanu, the mother of five children, the victim of domestic violence, who killed her husband to defend herself and her children.

Ana Gurdis: "It's a real story. The film is not about murder but about a strong woman who went through many hardships, asked for help and was not offered. It is a portrait in which many women from the Republic of Moldova will be found. Film is an art tool through which you can learn many things. Maybe the heroine was seen in this movie and that will help her change her point of view ".

The second film screened in Crăsnăşeni is "Disarmonica" directed by Jasmina Delev.

Jasmina Delev: "It's the story of a 15-year-old girl. The film is unique, I entered a contemporary family that is not exposed to public attention. During her adolescence, Nica gets lost, goes through a crisis, and is tempted by some unhealthy attractions. The film has a double structure: the vision of the child and that of the parent".

"Vocea Liliana" by Roman Gaţcan is the film that will be shown in Penitentiary no. 7 for women from Rusca village. The heroine of the film will also be present at the event and will talk to the audience. The director explains why this film will be brought to the attention of women detainees.

Roman Gaţcan: “Because Liliana is a strong woman who motivates and inspires, she is a good example to be shown. Liliana is an active personality, surrounded by people, sociable, empathetic. She has a small shortcoming - she is shorter than the rest of the people ".

The documentary "Teatrul Mare din Soroca" by Eugeniu Popovici will be screened on July 15 at the "Nufărul alb" spa in Cahul.

Eugeniu Popovici: “A film about the Roma community in Soroca. The basis is the reply of the Great Theatre of Moscow, that their life, of the Roma, is like a play - very active, noisy. We tried to go behind the curtain."

"A documentary enters where it is not allowed", opened the parenthesis Mircea Surdu, who wanted to mention that this year the caravan also comes with productions, which will emanate revelations. Eugeniu Popovici will bring to the public's attention the documentary "Flight" about the writer Vladimir Beşleagă.

Other documentaries will also be screened, such as "The Starless Sky", "Our Eve", films conceived in the "Telefilm-Chisinau" workshop, where the young directors developed their mastery guided by the director Irene Langemann.

"We are going with this caravan and from now on I can feel the joy of meeting the public. For a documentary filmmaker, there is nothing more important than a living room," Mircea Surdu, the director of the studio, shared his emotions before the event.

The documentary caravan will take place with the support of the Council of Europe.
