Protest action in front of CCM

Several people are currently protesting before the Constitutional Court of Moldova (CCM), while the complaint regarding the functioning of the languages spoken in the Republic of Moldova is being examined.

They chant: "Down with the traitors", "Down with the occupiers", "Cancel the criminal laws", "The only mistress, the Romanian language", "We are masters at home".

Law enforcement ensures public order.

TRM.MD recalls that the notifications to CCM were submitted by the deputies Octavian Ţîcu, Dinu Plîngău and Maria Ciobanu. The law was voted by Parliament at the end of last year, at the initiative of the Socialist deputies and promulgated by the then president, Igor Dodon.
