PACE continues to discuss the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the Republic of Moldova
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe continues to discuss, both in plenary sessions and in committees, the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the European continent, implicitly of the Republic of Moldova - said for Radio Moldova the head of the Chisinau Legislative delegation to PACE, Ion Groza .
"As a neighbor of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova is not immune to certain challenges - gas supply, trade, which is affected, could cause a food crisis in the region and in some countries, which depended on exports from Ukraine. There are assessments and proposals on how we can work together to overcome these challenges of the war crisis. We need to find common solutions to provide ourselves with energy resources, gas resources ", said Ion Groza.
The Council of Europe provides assistance to the Republic of Moldova based on the 2021-2024 Action Plan.
