Director of the "Transgaz" company: Romania is ready to help the Republic of Moldova with natural gas supply at any time
Romania is ready to help the Republic of Moldova at any time if it needs natural gas in the cold season of the year, said the director of the "Transgaz" company, the operator of the transport system in the neighboring country, Ion Sterian in an interview for Free Europe Romania .
According to him, the Ungheni - Chisinau gas pipeline has been operational since last year, and the Romanian authorities are ready to deliver gas through this pipeline at any time.
We remind you that, on Thursday, Gazprom reduced gas deliveries to Romania from an average of over 3 million cubic meters per day, to 300 thousand. The director of Transgaz claims that the most likely cause is the drop in demand on the Romanian market. However, Ion Sterian stated that there will be no problems in the winter.
