Igor Talmazan was appointed as Secretary General of the Government

Igor Talmazan resigned from the position of head of the Customs Service and was appointed as Secretary General of the Government. The decision was approved on Wednesday, November 23, by the Cabinet of Ministers. He will exercise his new duties starting from November 24.

"Mr. Talmazan is the head of the Customs Service at the moment, and he is well known as an extraordinary manager. He also worked in the Chancellery in the control body of the then Prime Minister Mrs. Sandu (née Maia Sandu). He knows the work of the Chancellery very well", said Natalia Gavriliţa.

Nicolae Vutcariov, the current deputy director of the Customs Service, will act as interim head of this institution, announced the Minister of Finance, Dumitru Budianschi.

Also, the PAS deputy, Adrian Bălutel, was appointed state secretary in the State Chancellery. The Prime Minister said that this change will be an experience that will help to better connect the Parliament and the Government.

We remind you that the Secretary General of the Government, Dumitru Udrea, resigned from his position. He did not specify the reasons for his resignation, but stated that he will continue to dedicate himself to the well-being of the Republic of Moldova
