The historian Ion Ştefăniţă intends to develop a tourist route in Molovata Nouă

He aims to develop domestic tourism in the area of Dubasari district in the next ten years. We are talking about the historian Ion Ştefăniţă, who wants to develop a tourist route at Molovata Nouă, on the left bank of the Dniester, reports Moldova 1.

He intends to organize hikes with pine therapy, in front of a panorama of the Dniester River, and with trips to the center of the earth, as in the work of Jules Verne. The heritage expert also bought a household, which had not been inhabited for three decades, where he set up an open-air museum.

Ion Ştefăniţă says that he traveled all over Moldova and visited over 1,200 localities in the country, but Molovata Nouă is an architectural gem, where there is an agglomeration of old, traditional houses that could be capitalized on.

At the same time, Ion Ştefăniţă aims to develop an underground cinema in the stone quarries from Molovata Nouă.

"A national wine cellar can be developed here. A winemaker can orient himself well to store his wine collection here. But personally, what I want is to develop this project of the theater of lights, with the design of Bessarabian paintings, paintings from the universal culture, the music videos in the musical background and the games of lights”.

Last year, Ion Ştefăniţă bought an old house in the locality, which he will turn into a peasant's museum. In the garden, he planted various berries, and soon those who wish will be able to visit and taste one hundred percent eco products.

At the Peasant Museum, Ion Ştefăniţă wants foreign tourists to actively participate in household chores, in order to discover the habits of the Moldovan peasant.

The official opening of the tourist route will take place on the patron saint of the village of Molovata Nouă, celebrated annually by Saint Mary, on August 28th.
