Chisinau City Hall will set up a crisis cell to manage the winter situation
City officials say they will set up a crisis cell to deal with the severe winter situation forecast this week.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, today it will snow lightly in several districts of the country, and in the following days a sudden drop in temperature is forecast with thermal values of -9 -12 degrees Celsius.
The National Inspectorate of Public Safety recommends that drivers drive at low speed, both in and out of the locality, equip cars with appropriate tires, use the engine brake predominantly and keep the distance between vehicles in order to stop the car safely.
