Romania is willing to offer aid to the Republic of Moldova after the rocket attack in Odessa

Romania is ready to help the victims of the rocket attack on Friday morning in the Odessa region, said the foreign minister from Bucharest, Bogdan Aurescu, during a press conference, digi24 reports. According to him, the Romanian authorities are in contact with those of the Republic of Moldova, who manage the rehabilitation centre for children from Sergheevca, Radio Moldova reports.

Bogdan Aurescu said that Friday's attack on some civilian targets in the Odessa region reconfirms that it is a war not only illegal in Ukraine, but also immoral and that it must end as soon as possible.

The head of diplomacy in Bucharest said that the Romanian authorities were in constant contact with those in Chisinau, and to the extent that they could help in connection with the victims of that attack, they will do so.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in Chisinau also condemned yesterday's attack with Russian missiles on the apartment building and rest base in Sergheevca, Odessa region, which resulted in loss of life, including children.

TRM.MD recalls that the Leisure Center, bombed by the Russians in the Odessa region is, in fact, the children's sanatorium Sergheevca, an institution subordinated to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova.
