Two athletes from the Republic of Moldova won the silver medal at the European Under 20 Championship in Rome

Fighters Mihaela Samoil (53 kg) and Luciana Beda (68 kg) won the silver medal at the European Under 20 Championship in Rome.

In the final, they were defeated by the German Amory Olivia Andrich, respectively the Turkish Nesrin Bas, informs olympic.md.

TRM.MD recalls that, previously, the Greco-Roman style fighter Alexandrin Guţu won the European Under 20 title. In Rome he won 5 victories in the 77 kg weight category, with the Swede Simon Christer Borkebhagen, the Italian Andrea Cremonin, the Turk Yuksel Saricicek, the Hungarian Rajmund Zurai and Georgian Tornike Mikeladze.

The Republic of Moldova is represented by 21 fighters at the competition in Rome.
