The magic of Christmas, also felt in the homes of Moldovans settled abroad

At Christmas, carolers are expected even online this year and are especially happy with the opportunities of technology, who can not return to the country to embrace their parents and relatives. In an interview with journalist Oxana Gherman Roşca, singer Tanya Anghel, who lives in Ferrara, Italy, said that she has already prepared her carol and hopes that it will warm the hearts of her loved ones.

"Even if this year I will not go personally, but I will enter the homes of those who listen to me through the Internet, to carol and announce the birth of Jesus Christ. I hope the carol gets home too. It is a project, which as an idea was born in 2012, when I felt the difficulty of being away from home, to understand the difference between the holidays here and at home. At home it was about traditions, about family. In 2019 we launched this carol, the lyrics I hope will reach the hearts and souls of everyone, but especially it is a message from those who live far from home and fail to reach a carol to dear parents, relatives, friends," said Tanya Anghel.

The singer provided some details regarding the carol video.

"It's a team I'm grateful for. The text is by Catalina Lungu, and the music, mix and studio belong to Gicu Sturza. We have worked with great pleasure and it really is a result that meets our expectations. In the video, we had the support and help of children from the Parish of Ferrara. There are children who attend church. I had great support from the community of Ferrara. The filming took place both in the city, we managed to catch the Christmas atmosphere, but a place was also offered, where our compatriots gathered," the singer mentioned.

Asked what traditions she keeps in the family for Christmas, Tanya Anghel mentioned: “As much as possible, in recent years we manage to keep the tradition of caroling, we call our parents in the morning, then we sit at the table with the family. Christmas is about giving, faith. Having a child, we can't help but have gifts. Unfortunately, this year, we will not be with friends and compatriots," added Tanya Anghel.
