Maia Sandu had meetings with the US and EU ambassador to Moldova
The president-elect, Maia Sandu, had meetings today with the ambassador of the European Union (EU) in Chisinau, Peter Michalko, but also with the ambassador of the United States (USA) in the Republic of Moldova, Dereck Hogan, where discussions were held on the current situation in the country.
Maia Sandu thanked the EU Ambassador for the unconditional support and constant help provided by the EU to our country, stressing that “it will make every effort to get the Republic of Moldova as many resources as possible for the country in the context of starting the negotiation process for a new association agenda. Moldova-EU," reports Radio Moldova.
Also today, President-elect Maia Sandu had a meeting with the US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova. Maia Sandu thanked Dereck Hogan for the firm support given to our country and our citizens over time and mentioned that overcoming the economic and health crisis is an immediate priority.
"We will get through this difficult period and we will be able to help entrepreneurs, farmers and needy families, increase the capacity of hospitals and support doctors, including through cooperation with the United States," said Maia Sandu.
