24 new cases of coronavirus cases reported in Moldova
Another 24 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed today in Moldova. Of these, three cases are imported, and 21 are local. The information was confirmed after the meeting of the Single Command Center for crisis management caused by COVID-19 virus.
"Today 153 samples were processed. We have 24 positive cases. Two cases are imported from the United Kingdom, one case from Germany and 21 cases are local”, said the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu.
According to the Minister of Health, the cases of local transmission were registered in the municipality of Chisinau, Soroca, Hânceşti, Râşcani, Stefan Voda, Ialoveni, Straseni.
All persons are hospitalized. At present, there are 149 people infected with COVID-19 in Moldova.
