36 young people will receive scholarships worth ten thousand lei
They will receive scholarships in the amount of ten thousand lei. 36 young people studying at 16 universities in the country have been included in the program "Scholarships for your future". The initiative aims to provide equitable access to university studies and to support young people in obtaining quality education, reports Moldova 1.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competition.
"In this year's edition, 75 files were submitted by students in the first, second and third year of study from 16 universities, respectively 36 young people were selected to receive scholarships worth ten thousand lei each," declared Olga Rusu, head of the university information center.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Corneliu Popovici.
"The scholarship obtained will represent a starting point for new achievements for these young people, who even if they study abroad will definitely return to our country," said Corneliu Popovici.
The project "Scholarships for Your Future" was launched in 2014 and is funded by a commercial bank in our country.
