The screening center for people suspected of having Coronavirus may be receiving patients soon

The screening center for people suspected of Coronavirus from Moldexpo could receive patients already in a few days. The Minister of Health, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, said that the authorities intend to make it functional at the end of the week. In this context, the normative framework for the organization and functioning of the Center will be approved, and later the planning work will be carried out, reports Moldova 1.

The general mayor of the capital Ion Ceban today inspected the premises and said that the local government will contribute with all the support to arrange these pavilions. This center will have a capacity of 700 places, on an area of five thousand square meters.

"The normative framework for the organization and operation of this center will be approved. The works for the organization of the center are ongoing and we very much hope that by the end of the week this target center will be a functional one. I reiterate that this is the first component, we want to ensure the sorting of people by specialists, so that we can download the hospital medical institutions,” said Viorica Dumbrăveanu, Minister of Health.
