COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 396 confirmed cases
Another 396 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, of which 22 in the Transnistrian region. Of the total number of cases, one is imported from Uzbekistan.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 29,483 cases.
During the day, 2,359 tests were performed, of which primary - 1,850 and repeated - 509.
As stated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 25 are medical workers: nine doctors, 15 nurses, one auxiliary staff.
Regarding the health status of infected people, 466 people are in serious condition, of which 25 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,244 people are in medium severity.
According to the data, another 280 people were treated and discharged. In total, 20,556 people were treated by COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of other deaths caused by COVID-19. Two more inhabitants of the capital, aged 67 and 86, also died. Also, three more inhabitants from the districts of Călăraşi, Soldanesti and Soroca were killed by the virus.
