More than 120 drivers, sanctioned in 12 hours

More than 120 drivers have been sanctioned in a single day, since the beginning of the "10 days of activities against road traffic accidents" campaign.

In just 12 hours, by the officers of the Center Patrol Directorate, 40 suspected drunk drivers were found behind the wheel of the car, out of which 18 in an advanced state of intoxication, 14 drivers in a minimum state of intoxication, 5 drivers refused the alcohol test and three were in a state of narcological intoxication.

According to the National Inspectorate of Public Security of the IGP, only tonight, on Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt Boulevard in the capital, 65 drivers were detected in traffic and documented for exceeding the speed limit.

Another 19 drivers violated the rules of operation of vehicles (technical defects in the braking system or steering mechanism), driving a car in violation of the rules for the location of the registration number and for violating the rules on the driving license.
