Decline in drunk driving in Moldova
There is registered a decline in drink driving in Moldova. According to the press officer of the National Inspectorate of Public Security, Natalia Golovco, since the beginning of the year and until now, 66 cases of drunk driving were registered, which is 10% less compared to the same period of last year, Radio Moldova reports.
"Since the beginning of the year, due to the drunk driving, there have been six road accidents resulting in one death and other 8 people were injured. In the same period last year, there were 19 road accidents, that caused two deaths and injured 23 people ", said Natalia Golovco.
Compared to 2020, the number of road accidents caused by drunk driving has also decreased by about 70%.
