Rhapsody of the Village: Potato Festival, in Rîşcova

Rîşcova village in Criuleni district is known for growing potatoes. Not in vain, for the third consecutive year, the potato was the star of a festival where dozens of producers presented several varieties that they cultivate, and the guests of the event were able to fill up for the winter, directly from the locals, with one hundred percent organic products. More about the festival, but also about the problems of the farmers who grow potatoes in our country, see on Sunday, at "Rapsodia Satului".

In this edition, we will talk with Petru Iliev, doctor habilitat, head of the Production Improvement Section within the Institute of Horticulture and Food Technologies, about the cultivation of potatoes and the challenges of entrepreneurs who grow potatoes.
