Vector European: The experience of Feşteliţa village in obtaining green energy

A village with secular cultural traditions has become an experimental plateau for energy technologies. It is about the locality of Feşteliţa from Ştefan Vodă district, where a center of excellence was created for piloting energy efficiency technologies and renewable sources. We will find out more details from Victor Parlicov, national expert in the project "Mayors' Convention on Climate and Energy in the Republic of Moldova", on Monday, June 29, at "Vector European" with Ludmila Barbă.

Both in Europe and in our country, traditionally, at the end of June, the Sustainable Energy Week took place. In the European community this initiative took root in 2008, and in the Republic of Moldova, for the first time, it was carried out in 2014. More details see tonight on Moldova 1.

Also in this context, traditionally, the European Union awards prizes for sustainable energy projects. In this way, the most remarkable innovations in energy and renewable efficiency are recognized. Among the winners this year is the Republic of Moldova. It is about the street lighting project implemented in the cities of Cantemir and Ocnita. We will find out more details from Irina Plis, project manager.

Another project that will be carried out with the support of the European Union in our country provides for the modernization of the energy structure of eight educational institutions in the northern, central and southern regions. But Irina Morari, a specialist in project management at the Centru Regional Development Agency, will tell us more.

The show is moderated by Ludmila Barbă and can be watched on Monday, June 29, on Moldova 1 and online on TRM.MD, starting at 19:55.
