The construction works of the new building of the "Mihai Eminescu" High School in Comrat were carried out in proportion of 40 percent. The insurance comes from the local authorities, who claim that they are carried out on time and without deviations from technological norms. It is planned to finish the second floor and the roof installation works by the end of December, reports Moldova 1.

Currently, the second floor of the new building is under construction. According to the project, here will be the school canteen, the gym and the festivities hall, the laboratories and the administration offices.

"It will be more comfortable, bigger, brighter here. It is very necessary, especially for laboratories, because they will be modernized according to the latest requirements for education," says the deputy director of the “Mihai Eminescu" High School from Comrat, Diana Grecu.

"We intend to complete the roof installation by December 31st. Every day, up to 20 workers work here. The meteorological conditions are favorable to carry out the works further," says the representative of the construction company, Veaceslav Topal.

"The works are carried out according to the work plan, no deviations were reported. After the new year, work will continue inside the building. We want to inaugurate the new high school block on September 1 and to improve the study conditions for our children," said the teacher from Gagauzia, Irina Vlah.

Construction work on the new high school building began in June.
