The famous Moldovan director, Emil Loteanu, would have turned 85 today (VIDEO)

The famous Moldovan director, author of several cinematographic creations that conquered the whole world, Emil Loteanu, would have turned 85 today, November 6th. We invite you to discover the life, but also the activity of the famous Emil Loteanu, also called "the last romantic of Moldovan cinema", in the show "Good Morning of the Weekend".

Emil Loteanu, declared as "the best director in the history of Moldova" was born on November 6, 1936, in the village of Clocuşna, Ocniţa district. Among the directed films that brought him popularity throughout the USSR and not only are Poienile roşii (1966), Lăutarii (1971), Şatra (1975), Gingaşa şi tandra mea fiară (1978), Anna Pavlova (1983) and Luceafărul (1986).

Director Emil Loteanu passed away on April 18, 2003. He was only 66 years old. A cinema in Chisinau bears his name in his memory.
