Chisinau municipality budget for 2020, approved in two readings
After more than five hours of debates, the Chisinau Municipal Council approved, in two readings, the Chisinau municipality's budget for 2020.
Under the document, revenues will amount to 4.3 billion lei and a sum of 4.6 billion lei is expected to be spent. Thus, the budget deficit will be about 291 million lei. Most of the money will be allocated to the communal household, roads, transport and healthcare.
Also, money is provided in the budget for implementing the electronic charging system in public transport - 1.5 million lei. The municipal budget was approved by 40 councilors.
